We work out what you actually need, which is often narrower than what people expect. A shareholder buyout, a SARS review and a trade sale each call for a different exercise, and scoping it properly is what keeps the fee down.

How quickly will I hear back?
Every enquiry gets a reply within one working day. Free basic valuations are returned within 24 hours.
Is the first conversation charged?
No. The initial 30-minute scoping call is free and carries no obligation. We quote a fixed fee afterwards, once we both understand the scope.
What should I have ready before I call?
Nothing formal. Knowing your sector, roughly what you turned over last year and what's prompting the enquiry is enough to have a useful first conversation. Financial statements only become necessary once a mandate is agreed.
Is what I send you confidential?
Yes. Enquiry details and any figures you share are treated as confidential and are not shared with third parties. Where a mandate requires it, we'll sign a formal non-disclosure agreement before you send anything sensitive.
Where are your offices?
Cape Town (Green Point) and Pretoria (Faerie Glen). Meetings at either are by appointment.
Do you take on work outside these three cities?
Yes — we act nationally, including Johannesburg, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein and across the Garden Route. Most of the work is document-led and runs remotely, with meetings by video call or on site where it's warranted.
